Microsoft announced January 14, 2020 as the End of Life (EOL) date for Windows 7 and Server 2008/2008 R2. This means now is the time to Call Sudora to upgrade your computers to Windows 10.

Microsoft will no longer produce any patches or updates to address known or otherwise newly discovered issues for these platforms. This potentially exposes all users of devices with the Windows 7 or entire networks using Server 2008/2008 R2  operating systems to vulnerabilities that could potentially be exploited by threat actors—exploits, bugs, viruses, and ransomware. If your business operates out of a server running either the Server 2008 or Server 2008 R2 operating system call the Sudora Help Desk at 314-993-4555 immediately to prevent downtime.

Historically once Microsoft ended support of an Operating System any system running that OS was non-functional.This means that any system holding PHI or Credit Card data must be updated to Windows 10 to stay Complaint. It is our and Microsoft’s recommendation to move to Windows 10 sometime before January 2020 to avoid any disruption in protecting your data. If the system is not upgraded expect problems that cost more to fix than to upgrade. Any system running an outdated Operating System will be indefensible to the new exploits that come out.  If you use a device with the Windows 7 operating system contact us to determine if you should upgrade or replace your systems.
